When I was lonely on the first day of school,
The kids liked my jacket and I became cool.

When I fell down and bruised my knee,
The teacher came to bandage me.

When I forgot my money to buy food,
I drank some soup that my friend brewed.
Thank you mom, for your prayer.

When I lost my umbrella and became all wet,
My friend drove me home so I wouldn't be upset.
Thank you mom, for your prayer.

When it snowed and I was very cold,
The sun came out for me to behold.
Thank you mom, for your prayer.

When I was so sure I had failed my test,
The results came in with mine being the best.
Thank you mom, for your prayer.

When it was uncertain I would get into university,
The mailbox burst open with acceptance letters for me.
Thank you mom, for your prayer.

When I had no job to start my career,
All these interviews would start to appear.
Thank you mom, for your prayer.

When I was looking to create a family,
A beautiful wife came to me.
Thank you mom, for your prayer.

When my baby was very ill,
The doctor cured him with a pill.
Thank you mom, for your prayer.

As I watched my kids grow up to be mature,
I'm glad to know that they're safe and secure.
Thank you mom, for your prayer.

All throughout my life when I was in need,
Something would always help me succeed.
Thank you mom, for always being there.
