JUST IMAGINE
by Anton Nguyen
Imagine not being kissed good night,
By someone who will love you with all their might.
You would certainly feel very sad
And wonder if you did something bad.
Imagine not being told to wear your jacket,
By someone who won't make you wish you lack it.
You would certainly feel cold outside,
And wonder why the weatherman lied.
Imagine not being told to go to sleep,
By someone who doesn't want to hear a peep.
You would certainly feel very eerie,
And wonder why you look so weary.
Imagine not being aided when your scrap your knee,
By someone who will make the pain flee.
You would certainly feel a lot of pain,
And wonder if you will need a cane.
Imagine not being consoled when you're down,
By someone who will always banish your frown.
You would certainly feel very much alone,
And wonder who will hear you moan.
You've just seen a world without any mothers,
Which is a horrible world that is like no others.
So God sent us an Angel from above,
and named her mother to give us love.
